NEH Fly-Away Repellent Gel 

 


The combination of Citronella, Eucalyptus and Tea Tree provides a long lasting natural fly deterrent for both horse and rider and as the gel is easy and gently to apply, as there are no scary spray sounds to spook your horse when applying to the head or tail! 

Citronella leaves were traditionally used throughout Asia and the Far East as an insect repellent. The scent of Eucalyptus wards away flying insects and will also help clear the human head and sinuses. 

Ideal for use on horses suffering from seasonal skin conditions caused by midge bites, such as Sweet Itch (the condition occurs from late spring to early autumn), as the gel acts as barrier preventing midges from having the opportunity to bite. 

To aid the treatment of Sweet Itch we recommend that the affected area is first washed with the Tea Tree Shampoo, as the scent will also help deter midges and the natural healing properties of Tea Tree will help soothe the itch. 

Caution Note:
We recommend this product is not used on broken skin. In such cases use the NEH Aloe, Kunzea & Tea Tree Gel or the Rose and Lavender Gel to soothe sore, cracked and irritated skin.

It is always advisable to seek veterinary advice in the case of Sweet Itch and skin irritations. Avoid the immediate eye contour area and do not apply to open wounds.
